Paste-360 Rotating Wellhead
One of the biggest problems our clients report is casing and tubing wear. Even thick-walled steel can wear enough over time to fail, and because wear rates are unpredictable and hard to measure, that failure often strikes without warning — causing significant unplanned downtime, and in cement operations, the risk of cement filling the annulus and requiring a full re-drill. In 2019, Allegiant designed PASTE-360 — a rotatable wellhead system built to complement our casing range with enhanced production capacity. After prototyping and testing, we patented the design internationally and released it for trial in 2020 alongside our patented rotating centralisers. PASTE-360 significantly extends casing life on vertical or inclined, new or existing wells, and — combined with our bottom of well assembly — lets operators monitor annulus pressure changes and act immediately, reducing downtime and avoiding costly grouting or re-drilling.
